First Leon Draisaitl in the Battle of Alberta shot his 50th Sizeontor for the Edmonton Oilers, then the returnee also made the win.
After almost two -week injury break, the German ice hockey star quickly came back to operating temperature and led his team to the 3-2 after extra time against the Calgary Flames.
Draisaitl reached the 50-goal mark for the fourth time in its NHL career, the goal to 2: 2 (57th) brought Edmonton into overtime in Duel in Canada. Then the center added in the 63rd minute number 51 and made the extra point perfect. The 1-1 by Viktor Arvidsson (37th) had previously prepared Draisaitl with his 53rd assist, so it was involved in all goals.
“I felt good out there. I have to talk to the doctors about what the final decision will look like,” said Draisaitl after the final training. He got the green light for an assignment – and delivered. In the 7-1 win against the Utah Hockey Club, the Cologne team suffered an injury that was not described in more detail on March 18.
Superstar Connor McDavid also lacked the runner -up against Calgary. Edmonton, which had gone down on Thursday at the Seattle Kraken without his dream duo (1: 6), is the third in the Pacific Division behind the Los Angeles Kings (both 89) on Play-off course.
