Quarterfinals reached! Alba Berlin had no problems in the 96:71 win against the Löwen Braunschweig in front of 6,431 spectators in the Schmelinghalle.

Alba got rid of his cup task easily and relaxed. The Berliners clearly won against the Basketball Löwen Braunschweig with 96:71 (51:34). World champion Johannes Thiemann shone with 20 points.

Alba travels to the Syntainics MBC in Weißenfels in the quarterfinals. This was the result of the draw on Sunday evening in Berlin.

Bitchy again against the lions: Tim Schneider (26). The center previously spoke for the first time about his eye injury, which put him on ice for a week before the Euroleague game on October 5th in Munich (68:80).

Schneider to the BZ: “I have no idea where it came from. On the morning of the game I woke up with a scratchy and very watery eye and was suddenly very sensitive to light.”

We went to the doctor immediately. “He prescribed me eye drops. The very next day I felt better, only the sensitivity to light diminished more slowly.” The TV spotlights during interviews are still too bright for him, but he can cope with that.
