A man from Breda (62) has been arrested in connection with a fatal collision in Etten-Leur. This is reported by the police. A 92-year-old woman was killed in the collision on Thursday. The driver continued driving after the accident.
The woman was hit by a car on Anna van Berchemlaan. She allegedly fell while crossing the road with her walker, after which a gray-colored van hit her. The driver then drove on. The woman was seriously injured and taken to hospital where she later died. The investigation into the incident continues and police are looking for witnesses and video footage.
