90 percent of employees in atypical employment systems say they cannot work until the age of 65, ABVV: “Serious problem that unfortunately remains underexposed”

Nine out of ten employees in atypical work systems, such as weekend work or night work, indicate that they cannot continue their job until the age of 65. This emerged on Thursday from a survey conducted by various centers of the socialist trade union ABVV, in collaboration with KU Leuven. In addition, two-thirds of the respondents indicated that they have a poor sleeping pattern and three-quarters stated that their private life is not in balance due to the variable work schedule.
