The Berlin “Amadeu Antonio Foundation” has collected 826,000 euros for alleged victims of alleged sexual assaults by Rammstein singer Till Lindemann. The spokeswoman for the non-profit foundation, Judith Rahner, explained this to “rbb” on Wednesday (July 5).
The money comes from a fundraising campaign that celebrities have called for. Under the motto “How much power is 1 euro?”, money has been collected by crowdfunding since mid-June 2023. More than 650,000 euros were collected within the first three days. The actress Nora Tschirner was one of the supporters of the campaign.
The fundraiser, in which more than 70,000 people took part, ended on Monday (July 3). The collected 826,000 euros should now go to the women who have reported their own descriptions of the allegations against the Rammstein head and who are now threatened with legal consequences because of their statements.
The campaign page states that the donations will be distributed in partnership with the “Federal Association of Women’s Counseling Centers and Women’s Emergency Call Centers – Women Against Violence”. Namely in the form of taking over legal or court costs as well as the implementation of protective measures against sexual violence and also in the form of psychological counseling and therapy options.
Alleged victims “badly insulted by Rammstein fans”
Judith Rahner, who heads a specialist unit for gender issues and group-focused enmity at the Amadeu Antonio Foundation, said the foundation is in contact with alleged victims who have made their allegations public on social media. “Many of them are now experiencing a lot of hate because they have spoken publicly,” Rahner told “rbb”. “They are badly insulted by Rammstein fans.”
According to Rahner’s information, women have now also reported to the foundation who claim to be involved in legal disputes in connection with the allegations against Lindemann. However, Judith Rahner did not name an exact number of people.
Many women who publicly talk about their alleged experiences at concerts or the after-show celebrations of the band Rammstein and especially with singer Till Lindemann are now threatened with cease and desist orders from Lindemann’s lawyers: inside. The foundation also reports on the threat of criminal charges intended to intimidate the women. With the donations, a network of lawyers is now being set up to ensure legal support for the alleged victims.

About the cause of Till Lindemann and Rammstein
Rammstein singer Till Lindemann is currently in the public eye due to allegations of abuse of power and abusive behavior. The Berlin band is said to have come up with their own system called “Row Zero” to get young women to have sex at after-show parties after the concerts. In a statement, Rammstein called for prejudice to be avoided. Lindemann meanwhile rejected all allegations about his lawyers as untrue. The Berlin public prosecutor is investigating against him.
