8 games worth playing

Now there is something for many to play.

Spring has been great for games. Throughout the early part of the year, two better games have appeared. Some have even had a problem with an over-supply of games. Many of the games start to be up to tens of hours long, but the good thing is that they don’t get anywhere.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection (PS5, PC later in 2022)

The Uncharted: Lagacy of Thieves Collection includes the remastered game Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and its standalone add-on Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

Uncharted takes Nathan Drake in his shoes in search of the treasure and legacy of the legendary pirate captain Henry Avery. There is a truly impressive adventure on offer, with problem solving, climbing and arms combat.

The game, updated for Playstation 5, looks really great and elevates the game world to its rights. No previous Uncharted games have been required to play in order to enjoy this game, but it is also useful for noticing small nuances.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus (Nintendo Switch)

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is a completely new kind of Pokemon game. It takes the player far into the Pokemon past to the Hisui area. The player is one of the first Pokemon trainers whose job is to grab Pokemon by fighting or grabbing the ball unnoticed.

The world of the game is open, meaning the player is free to adventure in certain areas. Pokemon walk around, meaning the player won’t be surprised. Pokemon can be grabbed by throwing a pokeball and high grass protects from being noticed. The game features adventures on land, sea and air.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus sucks in quickly and is really easy to enjoy. It’s a new kind of Pokemon adventure that many have been waiting for for years.

Elden Ring (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PC)

The Elden Ring is certainly one of the biggest gaming phenomena this year, even though we are only living in the spring. This is the latest game from the Souls creators, this time in the open game world. Some of the players were a little horrified by this, but after the release, it can be said that the direction was absolutely right. This game is really worth getting.

In the Elden Ring, the player controls the Stained, with the goal of becoming the Elden Lord with the Elden Ring. The player’s task is to collect the pieces of the Elden Ring from the mad offspring of Queen Marika.

Like Souls, the game is very challenging. The player has to think about how he will face his resistance and especially the “boss resistors” will knock the player down many times.

Having played the Elden Ring for tens of hours, the game offers excellent combat mechanics as well as a living, open world. The player is free to set out to explore what the world has to offer and come across surprising things. The game is hard to let go of and you learn quickly from mistakes. Even if the game seems difficult, it is designed to be so. The player is required to concentrate and pay attention. It can often be frustrating, but the feeling is best when a very challenging resistance is finally poured out.

Although it is a game of Souls, it can also be cautiously recommended for those for whom the games in this game series have not previously been their own game genre. Since the game isn’t based on pipe running now, it’s more forgiving. In addition, the game can be played together with friends or strangers.

King of Fighters XV (PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X / S, PC)

King of Fighters XV continues SNK’s long-running King of Fighters game series. It’s a traditional 2D fighting game featuring familiar characters from the game series, but also new ones. The last part has been running for six years now, so fans of the game series have a long wait behind them.

It has its own story space, but many are sure to be interested in online play against other players. Matches can be played with three characters, which brings its own dimension to the game.

KOFXV succeeds in being enjoyed by both newcomers and veterans. The controls are simple enough to enjoy the game right the first time, but getting the most out of the characters requires hours and hours of practice.

If you haven’t played fighting games in a long time, King of Fighters XV can be a good game to get back to.

Horizon Forbidden West (PS5, PS4)

The Playstation game series Horizon was continued in the spring with the release of Zero Dawn’s live sequel, Forbidden West.

First of all, Horizon Forbidden West looks really great. The play of lights and shadows, open moors, high mountain peaks and robots with lights make the player’s mouth open. The story itself is again well executed and closes comfortably, offering side-by-side activities in the form of side assignments.

As in the first part, the fight is really smooth and new tools are now available. The player can choose a straightforward approach, but often snooping on the grass is rewarded better.

The sound world of the game has also been honed and the game sounds really good, especially with headphones that support Tempest 3D Audiotech technology on the Playstation 5.

Gran Turismo 7 (PS4, PS5)

The Gran Turismo series is one of Playstation’s longest running series – this year marks the 25th anniversary of the sky. Gran Turismot is known for its end-to-file car games, which offer both an excellent driving feel and great graphics.

Gran Turismo 7 offers over 400 cars, although most of them are slightly older in caliber. However, this is by no means a bad thing, as the player has access to many classics ranging from the 1937 Alfa Romeo 8C to the 1969 Ford Mustang and the 2009 Toyota Prius. There is sure to be something for everyone.

The single player is transported with tasks that the player must complete. At least bronze must be achieved in the races and challenges in order to continue the path. The player gets into the wheel of more powerful and faster cars all the time, and the feeling is rewarding. This manages to add up well, and the player easily finds out “what if one more” after the race.

Driving controls have been filed in Gran Turismo 7. The driving feel is really good and the cars behave differently. Grants can be activated, but there is no rewind. So the player really has to be careful with the braking and overtaking if he wants to get on the podium. However, the game is by no means too challenging, but with the introduction of help, even a newcomer to car games will be able to enjoy the game for sure.

Triangle Strategy (Nintendo Switch)

If you’re looking for a strongly story-driven RPG game that offers turn-based combat, Triangle Strategy is the choice this spring. The game is the handwriting of Tomya Asano, who has also been responsible for the excellent Bravely Default as well as the Octopath Traveler.

Triangle Stategy is set on the fictional mainland of Norzelia 30 years after the Great War of three countries. The world is once again drifting into conflict over salt and iron scarcity. The game is transported through the youth leader Sereno Wolffort, who is tasked with resolving the conflict.

In addition to a really deep story, the game offers an iron turn-based battle described from above. A lot has been borrowed here, for example, from the Fire Emblem game series. There are several different characters, each with their own abilities. The player can decide who he wants to bring into the fight. Tactics play a big role in the game, and battles are nothing to go through. If the fights seem too challenging, different levels of difficulty are available.

Triangle Stategy is a role-playing game that stands out from the crowd in a nice way, which is very interesting graphically. The game offers a captivating story and there is enough to play for about 50 hours. However, be prepared to read a lot of dialogue, as there is a lot to delve into between the story of the game and the world between the battles themselves.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PC)

The excellent game Dying Light was continued in February with the release of Dying Light 2 Stay Human. It is a sequel to the much-regarded zombie game set in the open world.

The game takes you on an adventure in a European city that is one of the few that has even somehow survived a zombie pandemic. The player controls Aiden, who is looking for his lost Mia sister.

It is the open and multidimensional city that makes Dying Light 2 a very rewarding game. The character can move really agilely on the roofs of houses and climb somewhere, and the skills can also be improved as the game progresses. The movement is really nice and it makes that zombie game really stand out from the crowd.

The battles focus on waving various mallets, gavel hammers, baseball bats and water lures. The fights are brutal and the hits on the zombies are really felt. However, the struggle itself lags far behind the agile movement itself.

The story of the game contains a lot of surprises and carries well. Still, the best thing about the game is its sandbox-like nature and the freedom to move around the city freely.

Still coming

Later in March and April, there will still be some very interesting games to look forward to.

On March 25, Nintendo will release a sequel to the 30-year-old Kirby series Kirby and the Forgotten Land in the form of a game. It’s a Super Mario Odyssey-like 3D adventure coming to Switch, moving in a new unknown country. Kirby’s mission is to rescue the kidnapped Waddle Dee characters, using his already familiar ability to suck up enemies and gain their powers. The game seems really interesting and its demo at least managed to meet expectations positively.

The second expected game will also be released on March 25th. This is a release for PS5 and PC Ghostwire: Tokyo. It is a fast-paced action-adventure game where the player takes on supernatural powers. Almost all the people of Tokyo have disappeared and strange spirits have taken over the city. Using his powers, Akito’s job is to find out what has happened and destroy the evil spirits. Based on the game videos, Ghostwire: Tokyo’s combat mechanics look very interesting.

April 5th Lego game lovers will be aware of the nanna, for Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga appears. As the name implies, it is a game set in the Starwalker saga of Star Wars that combines all nine films. The player can follow the story themselves or venture freely around the galaxy. There are almost 300 characters available. Skywalker Saga differs from other lego games in that the camera is no longer glued, but battles can take place over the character’s shoulder.

In addition, the arrival of the Crusader Kings III strategy game for PS5 and Xbox on March 29 can also be highlighted. and Death Stranding: Director’s Cut arrives on PC 30.3.
