75 year old lifeboat Watson 2 back on the water

The Watson 2 is not just a boat, it’s a lifeboat. From the 1940s to the 1980s, the Watson was used to rescue people at sea. The ship owes its name to the British shipbuilder Watson.

The boat was completely restored during two years with the help of many volunteers. Now the Watson 2 is used as a tourist attraction. The tourists can be part of the crew on board and receive an explanation of how the ship worked as a lifeboat.
