72-year-old dies in smothered fire in Bellegem

The home nurse found the elderly lifeless on the ground around 10.30 am and tried to resuscitate him, but all help came too late. A fire expert and a law doctor concluded that it was an accident. It seems that the accident happened when the seventy was trying to light his stove.
