Buy art and do good with it. Under this motto, the hands were raised at the gala of the association “Business Can Children” in the Hotel Grand Hyatt. Fundraising auction for disadvantaged children and young people.

Theologian Margot Käßmann (64) gave a speech: “When children grow up in poverty, we often overlook that. This evening shows that the strong in society must stand together with the weak.”

More than 200 guests from business and culture donated a total of 700,000 euros. The money goes to 25 children’s homes in Berlin, among others.

Real estate entrepreneur Christoph Gröner (54), who founded the association: “We know that the injustices caused by birth are not eliminated. But they can be mitigated.”
