Swedish wonder man Armand Duplantis won the pole vault competition held in Clermont-Ferrand, France with a score of 622. This is a new world record.

Duplantis improved the ME result in his own name by a cent, as is customary in the sport. Only the 23-year-old pole hero broke the ME already for the sixth time in his career.

Duplantis has already crossed the magical six-meter mark 60 times.

Came second in the race Kurtis Marshall with his own record of 591. Going to Vlo was third with the same 591 result.
