Sixth matchday in the European League of Football (ELF) for Berlin Thunder. Guest at the Jahnsportpark: League newcomers Fehervar Enthroners. It was a 6:60 debacle for the guests…

A powerful name: Enthroners means heir to the throne. But the Hungarians are light years away from that. So far there have been powerful beatings for the Hungarians in the ELF.

So also on Sunday. Head coach Johnny Schmuck’s Berlin team didn’t give the guests, who were in last place in the Eastern Division without a win, the slightest chance. After just 86 seconds, Nikolai Schumann scored the first touchdown for the Berliners to make it 6-0.

It went on seamlessly at that pace. Quarterback Slade Jermain on Aaron Jackson – touchdown, 12-0 after four minutes. And just three minutes later, Jermaine’s next pass was successful. This time the recipient was Robin Wilzeck to 18:0. resistance? Unavailable …

From then on, the Berliners took it a little easier, scored “only” 40 points in the last three quarters and sent the guests home with a 6:60 swatter – because Kende Rathonyi was allowed to run across the field shortly before the end and the honors -Touchdown marked for score.

Thunder (4-2) stays tied to the Vienna Vikings (5-0) for second. Next week, the Berliners have to play at penultimate Prague (1-4), while the Panthers play in Vienna in the top game.
