60-year-old motorcycle dies after being hit by a tractor

Just after 4 pm, disaster struck again in Veurne. In ‘s Heerwillems, a 60-year-old man ended up under a tractor and died. The tractor drove in the opposite direction for a moment to turn into its yard, when the motard came out of the bend. The 21-year-old driver had not noticed the motorcyclist in time. Help was no longer of any use to the 60-year-old victim, he died on the spot. Just a few kilometers away, a 12-year-old girl suffered life-threatening injuries after a collision with a car a few hours earlier.
