56-year-old hit by tram and seriously injured

A 56-year-old was hit by a tram in Berlin-Mitte and seriously injured.

According to information from the police, the woman wanted to cross the tram tracks on Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse on Thursday evening when it hit her.

She was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. It is still unclear why the accident happened.
