Borealis, and one of the largest specialists in Europe’s chemistry, built a plastic factory in the Oost-Vlaamse Kallo, tegen de Antwerpse haven. In a reaction to the Antwerp Gazet and De Tijd laat Borealis weten dat het not gaat om werknemers van Borealis zelf, maar om medewerkers van de aannemer IREM-Ponticelli. Borealis recommends that all its partners ensure “that it is requested in an ethical and conforme manner, so as duidelijk is stated in the Borealis Code of Business Conduct and that all the relevant regulations, with the inclusion of the labor market, are fully valid.”
