55 objections to Steenbruggebrug
This is evident from the answer of Minister of Mobility and Public Works Lydia Peeters to a question from Flemish representative Maaike De Vreese from Bruges.
Local residents and Groen VZW lodged an objection. The local residents fear that the works and the temporary cut on the N50 between Oostkamp and Bruges will cause a lot of traffic disruption. That is why they advocate a temporary bridge for car traffic. Groen VZW is against straightening the channel. A decision must be made on the file by July 15.
