52 percent counted: Bolsonaro leads in Brazil elections

Brazil’s incumbent President Jair Bolsonaro will lead the country’s presidential elections for the time being. With more than half of the votes counted, he comes out at 46.3 percent. His main challenger Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has so far received 44.9 percent of the vote. However, Lula is slowly catching up with Bolsonaro as more votes are counted.
