The German krautrock band Neu! announces the 50th year of the release of their eponymous debut album NEU! (1972) an exclusive box set. In addition, the remix “Im Glück” was released on August 31st in collaboration with The National.
The anniversary box will be released on September 23rd via Greenland Records. The collection contains the first three (LP box) or four (CD box) albums as well as the tribute double album, which is characterized by cover versions and remixes by artists such as The National, Fink, Mogwai, Stephen Morris and others is. New! aka Michael Rother
Recently Released New! the remix “Hallogallo” in cooperation with Stephen Morris and Gabe Gurnsey as well as the two single releases “Weissensee” with Fink and “Zum Herz” with Guerrilla Toss. Of the founding members, only Michael Rother is now alive. He writes and produces the other works of Neu!. His colleague Klaus Dinger died in March 2008.
On October 26, 2022, Rother will play a live concert with friends at the Silent Green Kulturquartier in Berlin. You can get the tickets here acquire.
