The feud between 50 cents and Sean “Diddy” Combs reaches a new level – with Donald Trump as an unexpected third party. After the US President said on Friday, May 30th, he would “certainly consider a pardon for Combs”, 50 cents reacted immediately and decided.
“He really said bad things about Trump, that doesn’t work,” wrote Curti’s “50 Cent” Jackson in his Instagram story – only a short time after Trump was asked about possible mercy files in the Oval Office. “I will comment so that he knows how I think about this guy,” announced 50.
Trump plays with the idea of grace-50 cents is horrified
According to the “Deadline”, Trump announced that he was not pursuing the case exactly, but “after viewing the facts” was possible. “I haven’t seen him or spoken for years,” said Trump about Combs. “He used to like me a lot, but when I went into politics, this relationship broke out.”
50 cents, on the other hand, took the opportunity to finally slow down Combs from his side: “Donald cannot suffer any disrespect and does not forget who opposes him,” wrote the rapper on Instagram. “While he tirelessly works to make America great again, there is no space for distraction. He would pardon someone who is treated unfairly – but not Puffy Daddy.”
Trump, Diddy’s past and the sudden break
In the 1990s and early 2000s, Trump and Combs were often seen together in public. In a video invitation to Diddy’s birthday in 1998, Trump called him “legendary”. Combs in turn mentioned Trump in songs like “We Gon ‘Make it” as the epitome of American success. Even in 2015, at the beginning of Trump’s political career, Combs told Washington Post: “Donald Trump is a friend of mine and he works very hard.”
But at the latest with the 2020 election campaign, the turn came. When the Black-Lives-Proteste America shook, Combs clearly positioned himself against his former friend: “White men like Trump have to be banished,” he said in 2020 to the radio moderator Charlamagne Tha God. He accused Trump of splitting America: “This man tries to play against each other.”
50 cents and Trump
According to “Deadline”, 50 cents of coquettish animals have also been with Trump’s politics since 2020 – after all, this promised tax cuts for rich. However, when public criticism became loud, the rapper quickly retired. In 2024 he claimed that Trump offered him multiple millions to perform at campaign events-including three million US dollars for Trump’s rally in Madison Square Garden on October 27, 2024. “I rejected”, so 50.
For the election campaign, however, 50 then posted a picture of himself and Trump, and wrote underneath: “I don’t care how the fight goes out – I go with the winner. I still don’t know what’s going on here.”
Sug Knight believes in deal between Diddy and the government
Suge Knight, producer and co-founder of the label “Death Row Records”, who has been maintaining an arch enemy with Sean Combs for decades, told newsnation moderator Chris Cuomo on May 14. He said about Combs: “I think he liked a couple with the government. I think they will give him some scope.” Knight continues: “If he is convicted, Trump will pardon him.”
Trump recently explained: “Nobody asked me directly for pardon.” However, according to insider reports via “Deadline”, people from Diddy’s environment should already be in contact with Trump’s team.
Combs process with serious allegations
Sean Combs, who is currently responsible for a federal court in New York in a trial, is on trial for serious charges such as sexual coercion, human trafficking, pimps and blackmail. The process has been running since May 12th and is scheduled for eight to ten weeks.
Ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and Combs’ former assistant described in detail and under tears scenes of rape, violence, extortion and the “freak-offs”-organized sex parties, filmed and under the influence of drugs. Rapper Kid Cudi also said and described Combs’ jealousy attacks during his short relationship with Ventura. In addition to ex-employees: male escorts and investigators also said inside. The rapper himself insists on his innocence.
