50 Cent will soon be starring on the big screen alongside Mel Gibson in the thriller Boneyard. That reported “Hollywood Reporter” on Monday (April 17).
The film is set to tell the story of an FBI agent that Gibson will play. Together with the Albuquerque Police Department, he hunts down a serial killer nicknamed “The Bone Collector”. 50 Cent, bourgeois: Curtis Jackson, slips into the role of the police chief. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story is based on true events. The “In-da-Club” rapper shared the article on Instagram on Tuesday (April 18).
With Brian Van Holt and Nora Zehetner, further cast members have already been confirmed for “Boneyard”. Asif Akbar will take the director’s chair. He most recently took over the creative direction in “The Commando” (2022) with Mickey Rourke. In addition to Akbar, Hank Byrd, Vincent E. McDaniel and Koji Steven Sakai also worked on the screenplay. Filming has already started.
