In the US state of Louisiana, a man has been sentenced to 45 years in prison for kidnapping and attempted murder of someone he met on dating app Grindr. Chance Seneca, 21, called the platform popular with the LGBTQ+ community a “hunting ground”. He was inspired by serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, who killed 17 boys and men in the 1980s after picking them up at gay nightspots.
