A 42-year-old motorcyclist died in a collision with a car in Brandenburg an der Havel.
The accident occurred late Saturday evening at an intersection, the police reported on Sunday. When crossing the intersection, a 71-year-old driver overlooked the motorcyclist who had the right of way.
The motorcyclist was unable to avoid the collision and crashed his machine into the driver’s side of the car, police said.
The 42-year-old was thrown from his motorcycle and suffered life-threatening injuries, from which he later died in the hospital. The 71-year-old driver and his 68-year-old passenger were slightly injured and treated as an outpatient in the hospital.
