Best start to the season for the Eisbären in 15 years. With the 4-1 win against Augsburg, the Berliners achieved their third win in the third game. The last time we started with three wins was in the 2008/2009 season.

The Eisbären performed like a top team against the Panthers. Victory was never in danger. The Berlin goals were scored by Byron (5th), Eder (10th), Bergmann (37th) and Ronning (42nd). Puempel scored the goal (36th).

Particularly pleasing: Lean Bergmann celebrated his first goal on his Eisbären debut.

Striking: Goalkeeper Jake Hildebrand once again had a solid performance. In addition to the experienced professionals, 21-year-old Korbinian Geibel was convincing in defense.

The top game takes place in Mannheim on Sunday (2 p.m., MagentaSport). Another endurance test for the polar bears.
