40 years after ‘Thriller’, Paul Ambach still has nothing but praise for the King of Pop: “Michael Jackson was not unworldly”

After forty years ‘Thriller’ is still the best-selling album ever. At the launch, Michael Jackson was still a curly African American who stole all hearts, but 27 years later he died – surrounded by an aura of scandal – a white man with a disfigured face. But that’s not how concert promoter Paul ‘Boogie Boy’ Ambach wants to remember him: “He was a top artist. And his performances were top notch shows.”
