Relegated to 17th place
Arminia Bielefeld’s new coach Uli Forte has to worry about his job after four defeats in a row. “We’ll analyze it calmly,” said sporting director Samir Arabi on Sunday morning. The day before, the Bundesliga relegated team had lost 2-0 to Hamburger SV. After four games, Bielefeld are in a relegation zone without a point. Only the first round of the cup against fifth-division side FV Engers 07 was successful. “We are all aware of the situation and no one is happy with it,” Arabi said.
Arminia’s managing director did not want to give the 48-year-old Italian a job guarantee. “The current situation is not about individuals. Confessions are useless before the situation has been seriously analyzed,” said Arabi. “We want to work through that first and in this respect there is no statement about the next game.”
It is always bad to make a decision based on emotions. Above all, the same processes in the games are criticized: First half bad, second a little better – but in the end not enough. “I wouldn’t call the situation dramatic yet, but dangerous,” said Arminia’s record scorer Fabian Klos (34).

Arminia forum at Transfermarkt: No alarmism, but cautiously pessimistic

But if you are unsuccessful, other ideas are needed. No one can seriously expect to climb straight back up as the undisputed number one. But running the risk of disappearing into the nothingness of the 2nd division, or maybe even worse, can no longer be the claim,” says “Snickerz”.
“Arminios” meanwhile writes: “I thought it was a shame that the coach didn’t face the fans after the final whistle. He stood behind the team and occasionally watched the people of Hamburg celebrate. That was the point where I was wondering if he’d be able to pull the cart out of the mud again. The occurrence and the lack of impulses do not speak for it so far. But the impulses have now been cautiously announced.”
At first I was quite skeptical about the forte obligation after hearing from Switzerland. But I figured he’d have at least some short-term success and wouldn’t have to go until Season 2. But at least at the beginning he was seen as a motivator who ignites quickly.
After the preparation he had pretty much convinced me. He seemed very likeable, fresh, confident and courageous and I saw that he can communicate with so many players in their native language at our in…
