The plane crashed in the Kasberg ski area in the state of Upper Austria. The snow made the search for the plane more difficult. After about two hours, rescuers found the first pieces of wreckage. It took another two hours before the wreckage itself was found.
The four occupants were dead. The police have not yet released any information about their identities or the possible cause of the crash. Perhaps the plane came from outside Austria.
