Oscar winner Nicolas Cage will soon appear on the big screen again. The psychological thriller “Sympathy for the Devil”, in which he – with his intentional overacting – embodies an unwanted passenger, opens in cinemas on November 9th. From November 23rd, the film, directed by Yuval Adler, will also be available on DVD and Blu-ray.
What do you do when a crazy stranger takes you hostage in your own car? And all that while your heavily pregnant wife is in the hospital giving birth to their child? This is the question David Chamberlain (played by Joel Kinnaman) has to ask himself when a mysterious passenger (Nicolas Cage) gets into his car and threatens him with a gun. His panicked response: Follow orders and drive off! The film follows the cat-and-mouse game between the two main characters as they travel to Boston.
