Homegrown extended
SV Wehen Wiesbaden has retained substitute goalkeeper Lucas Becker. The 19-year-old signed a new contract until June 30, 2023. Homegrown Becker made the leap to the SVWW professionals last summer, for whom he has been in the matchday squad six times, but has not yet played.
“Lucas has not only developed technically and tactically, but above all physically. When it comes to youth players, how quickly they can adapt to the demands of professional football is always an important factor. His development is going in the right direction under our goalkeeping coach Marjan Petkovic,” said sporting director Paul Fernie.
