3rd league: Third win – 1860 Munich takes over the top of the table

TSV 1860 Munich remains on the road to success. The Munich team convinced with a clear 4-0 win against SV Meppen.

TSV 1860 Munich also conceded the full number of points on the third matchday of the 3rd division. The team of trainer Michael Köllner prevailed with a clear 4:0 against the guests from Meppen. With nine points from three games, the lions continue to underline their promotion ambitions for the 2022/23 season.

Kobylański lets the knot burst

The Köllner team had more of the game for long stretches in the first half, but often found it difficult to create chances against well-organized Meppen. Martin Kobylański then deservedly redeemed the lions in the 29th minute with the opening goal. Just a few minutes later, Fynn-Luca Lakenmacher even had the big chance to make it 2-0. The guests from Meppen, on the other hand, struggled going forward and were unable to create any promising scoring chances. It lacked creativity and accuracy.

Lakenmacher puts together the double pack

In the second half, Lakenmacher (63′) used his second chance perfectly. The 22-year-old let the Meppen defense stand and hammered the ball into the left corner to make it 2-0. Just three minutes later, the lion striker was able to net the 3-0 with complete freedom. In the 81st minute, substitute Stefan Lex finally put the lid on it. SV keeper Jonas Kersken had no chance with his low shot into the left corner.
