SV Meppen has presented the first newcomer with Lukas Mazagg. The 22-year-old central defender comes from SV Wacker Burghausen, for whom he played in 34 games (two goals) in the Bayern Regionalliga this season. The Italian-born player has a contract with SVM until June 30, 2024.
“We observed Lukas long and hard. In addition to his strong left foot, he also has an impressive size. We trust Lukas to take this next step into the 3rd league and are happy that we were able to win him over,” said sporting director Heiner Beckmann.
