After six months, left winger Noel Eichinger is leaving SSV Jahn Regensburg for the time being. The 22-year-old, who came from FSV Zwickau in the summer, will play for Greifswalder FC on loan in the second half of the season. He should “gain important match practice” with the regional league team, as the third division runner-up announced.
“With the current squad situation, it hasn’t always been possible for Noel to get enough playing time recently. Together with him, we have now found a profitable solution for all sides,” explained sports director Achim Beierlorzer: “With the leader of the Regionalliga Nordost he can gain important experience and develop optimally.” Since his transfer, Eichinger has only played four games over 34 minutes contested for the Jahn professionals.
