Valdrin Mustafa is leaving FC Viktoria Köln after six months and moving on to leaders SSV Jahn Regensburg in the 3rd league. The 25-year-old striker, who previously scored 31 goals in 68 games for SV Elversberg in two years, failed to score in twelve mostly short league appearances for Cologne.
“With Valdrin we have gained a strong offensive player who particularly enjoys being in the dangerous zone and has already demonstrated his qualities as a striker several times in his previous positions. “We will now work together with Valdrin to ensure that he can help us directly and strengthen us both at the core and at the top,” said sports director Achim Beierlorzer.
Mustafa added: “I am really looking forward to this sporting challenge here in Regensburg and have consciously decided on this path. The conversations with those responsible convinced me straight away. Here I want to prove myself again and help the team with my qualities in order to achieve the goals they have set. Now it’s important to arrive as quickly as possible and get to know the team.”
