FC Ingolstadt missed out on getting closer to the promotion places. In the home game against Preußen Münster, Michael Köllner’s team only has a draw.
FC Ingolstadt continues to perform in league three. The Upper Bavarians only managed a 1-1 draw with newly promoted Preußen Münster and are still in seventh place in the table after 22 games. The gap to third place, which qualifies for the relegation games in the 2nd Bundesliga, is six points.
Defensive mistakes here and there
The cold shower right at the beginning: Münster played cheekily and took the lead thanks to a nice solo by Joel Grodowski (3rd). The Ingolstadt defense only offered escort protection. Afterwards, the attack line around top scorer Jannik Mause also got going and delivered the prompt answer.
After an unsuccessful back pass from Prussia player Yassine Bouchama, Pascal Testroet intervened. The 33-year-old didn’t need to be asked twice and scored the equalizer in the 12th minute. In the second half, the level of the game leveled off, so that the score ultimately remained 1-1.
