3rd league: Farat Toku new head coach at Viktoria Berlin, successor to Muzzicato found – rbb – regional

Third division soccer team Viktoria Berlin presented its new head coach Farat Toku on Thursday. With the 41-year-old from Bochum, the newcomer from Berlin Lichterfelde wants to stay up in the remaining eleven league games. “Farat suits us perfectly with his temperament and his qualities,” said Rocco Teichmann, sports director of the sky blue, on the Club homepage [viktoria.berlin].

Hardly any third division experience

“I stand for a lot of what the club stands for and I feel like there’s a fit between us,” said the former Wattenscheid 09 coach. Peer Jaekel, managing director of Viktoria Berlin, added that Toku was briefly, I hope that the team and each individual player will develop further in the medium and long term and that we will achieve our sporting goals.

From 2015 to 2019, the 41-year-old soccer coach led what was then the regional league club Wattenscheid 09 before successfully completing his soccer teacher training course last year. As a player, Viktoria’s new head coach Toku gained experience in the third division at Wattenscheid 09 from 2003 to 2004.

In the past few days, Viktoria’s managing director Teichmann has called for a coach to be hired who should fit the club and the city, have a firm belief in the team and its goals and have experience in the third division. The new trainer hardly fulfills the latter.
