3rd league: Eintracht Braunschweig maintains promotion ambitions

Eintracht Braunschweig has secured relegation rank three in the 3rd football league with a strong away performance. The 1967 German champions won the chasing duel at Waldhof Mannheim on Sunday 3-0 (1-0).

The lions from Lower Saxony have 51 points on their account. The gap to second-placed 1. FC Kaiserslautern is two points after the 29th matchday, and Braunschweig still has a catch-up game to play. Maurice Multhaup (39’/48′) and Michael Schultz (54′) scored the goals.
