At the club since 2011
FSV Zwickau without Davy Frick? It’s hard to imagine – that’s obviously what the Saxon leadership thought too and the expiring contract with the 32-year-old central defender was extended by another year until 2023.
Frick has been playing for FSV since 2011, when he came to Zwickau from his youth club FC Carl Zeiss Jena. There is only one player in the entire 3rd league who has been active for his club for longer than the defender at almost eleven years of age: Toni Lindenhahn (31) has been playing for the first team at Hallesches FC since 2009 and can due to a cartilage damage but have not been involved for over a year. He is also tied to his club until 2023.
“For me, FSV Zwickau is pure passion!”
