1. FC Saarbrücken won Monday’s 3rd division game against Würzburger Kickers 2-1 (0-1) and is now third in the table.
Würzburg, on the other hand, slipped to last place after the eleventh game in a row without a win.
After the early lead of the Kickers by Andre Becker (2nd), Saarbrücken turned the game around in the second round and, after goals from Manuel Zeitz (68th) and Sebastian Jacob (81st), can still hope for the 2nd division.
Shortly before the end, Würzburg’s Peter Kurzweg saw a red card for an emergency brake (90′ + 2′).
