Experienced shows “irresistible will”
SV Waldhof Mannheim has extended the contract with veteran Marc Schnatterer by another year until June 30, 2023. The 36-year-old striker, who joined the third division team from 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 last summer, has been directly involved in 16 goals in 37 games for Waldhof so far.
“For several weeks we were in talks with Schnatti and his advisor about his future. In terms of fitness, mentality and quality, we are convinced that he will also help us to enrich our offensive in the coming season. We know the reasons why the first half of the season was better than the second half and we are convinced that he will continue the performances he has shown. His strengths in finishing and standards as well as his irrepressible will are exceptional in the 3rd division and a building block to strengthen our offensive,” said managing director Tim Schork.
