3rd division: Hallescher FC also scores against 1860 Munich

Status: 02/24/2023 9:49 p.m

Every point can be decisive in the relegation battle and Hallesche FC shouldn’t be dissatisfied with the 0-0 win against 1860 Munich. Party atmosphere would be exaggerated, because the Ristic-Elf left too much behind on Saturday.

Hallesche FC also scored in the second game under new coach Sreto Ristic. There wasn’t a threesome against TSV 1860 Munich on Saturday like last time, but the 0-0 draw in front of 8,582 spectators still resulted in a point. There was even more potential against the ambitious Löwen, who are currently experiencing a great deal of unrest in the club. But there were too few big chances for HFC. Shortly before the final whistle the HFC fans screamed for goal, but Tom Zimmerschied was offside when he scored. In the table, Halle climbs to 16th place by one point – and is therefore above the line for the time being. TSV 1860 is still ninth.

HFC keeper Gebhardt wide awake

The hosts started very courageously in the Leuna-Chemie-Stadion and played boldly forwards. In the second minute, Andor Bolyki was saved by Munich goalkeeper Marco Hiller and Erich Berko was unable to head the ball into the opponent’s goal from a promising position (23′). The home side were initially unable to create any further chances, despite optical advantages. There was no sign of the guests for half an hour. But then goalgetter Marcel Bär appeared completely free in front of Felix Gebhardt, but failed due to the brilliantly reacting goalkeeper (33rd).

Bolyki misses the lead

After the change of sides, the game rippled along for 20 minutes before the hosts again put the first offensive accents. However, Hiller safely parried two shots from Tunay Deniz (65′, 69′). After a return pass from Berko, Bolyki shot the ball eight meters into the evening sky (66′). At the other end, Erik Tallig missed the great opportunity to lead the visitors when he shot the ball straight into Gebhardt’s arms from eight yards out (70′).
