37-year-old bodybuilder Paul Poloczek died a couple of hours after the race

Professional bodybuilder Paul Poloczek died last weekend at the age of 37. The cause of death is not yet known.

Poloczek’s wife Katherin DeNev told of grief news on Instagram.

– Bodybuilding was your life. You will not be forgotten, you live in our hearts. We will love you forever, DeNev wrote in his update.

In addition to his wife, Poloczek is especially missed by his husband’s kindergarten daughter.

The Polish suddenly died just a couple of hours after taking part in the NPC Worldwide Championships in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Football was Poloczek’s first love for the sport. He found bodybuilding at the age of 16. He won the first junior race at the age of 17.

The biggest accomplishments of the man’s career were winning the Arnold Amateur race in 2017 and finishing 16th in the New York Pro race in 2018.
