In Kortrijk, 33 bicycle thieves have been arrested in six months. Proof that the intensive approach of the police is paying off, says the city. For example, there is a special team that works on bicycle thefts. Last year, almost 800 bicycles were stolen, a quarter of which were stolen at the station. Also striking: one in four thefts was solved.
