The Foxes have regained the lead in the Handball Bundesliga. On Sunday, in front of 8768 spectators in the Max-Schmeling-Halle, the Berliners defeated TBV Lemgo Lippe after a good second half with 32:26 (12:13).
The foxes again overtook THW Kiel, which had jumped to first place for a short time on Saturday. The best Berlin throwers were Jacob Holm with six, as well as Lasse Andersson and Hans Lindberg with five goals each.
The game started very evenly, until 5:5 no team could break away. But then the mistakes of the hosts accumulated in the final. Lemgo played his attacks calmly and for a long time and scored consistently. After a good 13 minutes, the foxes were two goals down for the first time (5:7).
The otherwise strong Berlin keeper Dejan Milosavljev was not a factor in the first half. The deficit was at times three goals (9:12). At least the capitals increased combatively and were able to shorten a piece at half-time.
The foxes came out of the dressing room better and after a long time took the lead again (13:12). The Berliners were now much more aggressive and attentive defensively. Milosavljev also held a few balls.
In the middle of the second half, the hosts were able to break away with a 5:1 run to 23:19. Now the foxes had the game under control and easily brought the victory home.
