Simple concept – big effect: in four rounds of speed dating, students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering came into contact with a wide variety of companies from Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg. The 23 companies present introduced themselves in short elevator pitches.
This was followed by 10-minute rounds in which students and companies introduced themselves and thus got the chance to get to know each other better. Under the moderation of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Tim Rauert met around 70 students with 60 specialist representatives from 23 companies.
After the four rounds and a culinary refreshment – which was conjured up on the grill by the Civil Engineering student council – the students had the opportunity to go back to the tables of the respective companies and delve deeper into the discussion. The last round was one-to-one talks.
