The driving licenses of 14 motorists were immediately revoked. “Their report goes to the public prosecutor’s office, which decides on an amicable settlement of at least 245 euros or more for multiple infringements,” says Lien Depoorter of Bruges Police. In addition, 17 drivers and cyclists received an immediate collection of 174 euros, plus 10 euros in administration costs. This included cyclists and drivers who used their mobile phones while standing at a red light or in traffic jams.
