300 Belgians who were stranded in the Caribbean will return home today and tomorrow, reports TUI | Domestic

Two hundred travelers were stranded in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, another hundred in Jamaica. The Belgians were very dissatisfied with the lack of clear information from TUI. Last weekend the tour operator sent spare parts for the defective aircraft, but they were unable to solve the problem. The search for a replacement device also failed.

The affected tourists were offered a place to sleep in a hotel and are entitled to compensation of 600 euros. Today and tomorrow they can finally return home.

“The people from Punta Cana arrive in Brussels just before noon,” reports TUI. “Some of the other travelers are on their way, the other part leaves tonight and will therefore arrive on Tuesday. We have looked for a solution for them from other companies,” he said.
