In the meadow
One of the oldest fairs in Zoetermeer stood in the meadow near Vlamingstraat in the 1950s and 1960s. The farmer of that piece of land kept the pasture free so that the merry-go-round and the shooting salon could be built.
Osylaan
In the 1990s everyone looked forward to the fair on Osylaan. Since there were not many events in the city yet, many Zoetermeer residents went to the parking lot opposite the Dorpsstraat for a day of entertainment. The Break Dance was one of the most popular attractions, as were the bumper cars and the ball shooting gallery.
