The MSV Duisburg also held its 100 % quota against SV Wehen Wiesbaden and won the fifth victory.
The Meidericher prevailed 3: 1 (2-0) in the home game against the Hesse on Saturday and of course remain the leaders with 15 points.
Christian Viet (29th), Can Coskun (31st) put the promoted in the lead with a double strike. After Nikolas Agrafiotis (49. )’s connection goal, a MSV joker once more made a decision with Conor Noß (71.).
The MSV had gone into play with personnel worries. Jakob Bookjans, Florian Egerer, Leon Müller, Patrick Sussek, Dennis Borkowski and Jesse Tugbenyo were missing against Wiesbaden.
Double strike by Viet and Coskun
The game began with a yellow card for Wiesbaden, who after eight seconds David Suarez got off his legs and saw yellow. The MSV came to a first, albeit harmless conclusion (2nd) through Jan-Simon Symalla. Steffen Meuer aimed a bit too high with a shot from a distance (8th). Otherwise there was a lot in midfield in the initial phase.
After some idling, Coskun was able to record the next Duisburg end, but shot from the left position directly into the hands of contraceptive goalkeeper Florian Stritzel (21st). Wiesbaden rarely became as dangerous as by agrafiotis in the 28th minute, but his Schlenzer passed the second post. It did better Duisburg Just a few seconds later: A flank from Symalla landed at the completely unpaid Viet, who scored 1-0 for the MSV by volley (29th). Less than two minutes later, Coskun increased to 2: 0 (31st) after a strong individual performance. Agrafiotis almost made the connection for Wiesbaden shortly afterwards, but it failed in one-on-one on the strongly reacting MSV keeper Maximilian Braune (33.)
Then Duisburg checked the action and went into the cabin with a deserved tour. Shortly before the break, a lawn sprinkler made a laugh, which went to work before the break whistle but could be turned off quickly.
Eighth Joker goal for Duisburg
Shortly after the break, Wiesbaden was back in the game. Agrafiotis hit 2-1 (49.) after a flank from almost ten meters. The goal scorer almost added his second goal, but Braune steered his long -range shot in the 53rd minute. Duisburg only appeared at counterattacks in front of the Wiesbaden goal, while the guests had more possession and besieged the MSV penalty room without being really dangerous.
A joker then made the decision again for the MSV. The just substituted Noß met Symalla to pass 3-1 and already achieved the eighth Joker goal of the Duisburgers this season. The game was decided and only the home side played. Substitute newcomer Florian Krüger failed twice due to Stritzel (82nd/84th). Not much happened in the eight minutes of stoppage time.
