Eintracht Braunschweig remains without a win in the third league game: against Darmstadt 98 the BTSV lost 1: 2 – despite a tour.

Eintracht Braunschweig was unable to end its small dry spell in the 2nd Bundesliga on Saturday. The Lower Saxony lost a fight -emphasized game at Darmstadt 98 with 1: 2 (1-0) and missed the jump into the upper half of the table.

Mehmet Aydin scored the temporary lead goal in the 22nd minute. Then Isac Lidberg (62nd) and Matej Maglica (86th) met for the hosts. The decisive goal fell after a free kick that the lilies were awarded due to an emergency brake by Sven Köhler – Köhler saw the red card in the 86th minute.

Braunschweig was also there in the third game in a row without a win, but with seven points, but holds the table with seven points. After a strong start to the season with two victories, the team of coach Daniel Schering only got one point from the past three games.

The initial phase belonged to the Darmstadt, who looked playfully superior. In the 8th minute, goalkeeper Ron-Thorben Hoffmann prevented an early behind with a strong parade against Fraser Hornby.

With the guidance in the back, Braunschweig took control and was defensively compact. After the break, the pressure of the hosts became stronger. Lidberg faulted a shot from Hornby unsustainable. In the final phase, both teams played for victory, but in the end they missed the last consequence.
