12:17 deficit recovered
The first set in front of 1,178 spectators in Vilsbiburg was already in the balance for a long time. However, with middle blocker Anastasia Cekulaev on serve, the guests managed to pull away from 17:17 to 23:17. Vilsbiburg put up even more energetic resistance in the second half. But the Potsdam women got the first set point through Suvi Kokkonen after a score of 23:23. The team used this cleverly with a block of two to take a 2-0 lead in the set.
SC Potsdam showed morale in the third period when the team courageously overcame a 12:17 deficit and finally took the lead with 21:19 thanks to a block by Danielle Harbin and thus headed towards victory.
