FC Hansa Rostock strengthens its offensive with Kai Pröger. The 30-year-old comes on a free transfer from league rivals SC Paderborn 07 and has a contract until June 30, 2024. In the past season of the 2nd Bundesliga, Pröger was directly involved in nine goals in 32 games.
“With Kai we were able to attract a sought-after player who has already proven his qualities in the two top leagues in Germany. In addition to his speed and the offensive switching game, creating scoring chances is one of his strengths,” said sporting director Martin Pieckenhagen.
Pröger added: “I saw what is possible here at Hansa with the support of the fans. I too will give everything from the first to the last day to achieve the minimum goal of staying up and everything that is still possible beyond that. I also know some of the players at Hansa personally, which of course makes it a bit easier.”
