Fortuna Düsseldorf will start the pilot project for free home games on October 21st against 1. FC Kaiserslautern. As part of the new “Fortuna for everyone” concept, a total of three home games will be offered in the coming season without entry fees. The other two free games will take place against FC St. Pauli on the last weekend in January 2024 and against Eintracht Braunschweig in April 2024. Fortuna presented the new strategic orientation last April and, thanks to the support of new sponsors, in the long term intends to offer stadium visits for all home games free of charge. “We have listened a lot over the past few weeks and taken into account criticism and ideas from many fans.
